Nice, by the number of items, I'd say he mined for quite some time, maybe 2-3 hours?

Do you have to own mines in the city that the Dwarf shows up in or does he just mine from available mines (for stowaways, for example where there's no guarantee you have anything where he shows up)?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, patience. How long will that take?

no he'll just mine whatever mines are in the city he is in, regardless of if you own them.

Wow, that must be the worst dwarf ever.

I wonder, is there a significant difference between the bph production /lifespan of dwarves captured on road and sea versus those won over by trashing items? Japhet may have addressed this somewhere, but if not I'd like to see more stats compiled here if people who acquire dwarves are willing to put in the tiny bit of effort to copy and paste their finds so we can get a better idea of the mechanics behind them (i.e., whether or not there are different type of dwarves based on origin, and just how much variability there is between number of finds and if any other factors influence that).

Not that I've seen Chabadega. I had one stowaway give me a shit load of items (see the list further up) and that last stowaway gave me 2. Further the one I went for getting by trashing, gave me somewhere in between.

Being I'm sure this is both the same Dwarf. He's still working, but I've got a team with whips whipping him to work. We'll see if this works.

Addendum: 19:14 Server Time: 54 Minutes since arrival.
So far the whipping is working! And he's still hasn't slipped away. Will update again once he's slipped away for good.

Final overall list at 19:45 Server Time: (Ledger is the last addition) Roughly 1 hour 25min after arrival.

Not bad, guess the whippings for his last two failures motivated him to find good this time.

Damn the Dwarf is still MINING!!!!!!! I went to post this then went back to check my findings on colors and saw more items. Checked my inventory and he's STILL THERE!!! This is around 4 HOURS since arrival!!![/quote]

Final Update is the list you see above. I obtained 3 more items since posting this.
Ended around 9:45-9:50 Server time. Nearly went a full 4 hours. For a total of 33 items, of which 4 where Blue.

Break down of interesting info.
Avatars: 21 (3 Blue)
Weapons: 5 (1 Blue)
Vehicles: 4
Spices: 3

Seems the Dwarf has a prefrence towards mining Avatar items it seems.

The dwarf seems to combine all the mines in the city together, and then mine from that one collective mine. In navan's case, the dwarf was mining from the Spice/Weapon/Vehicle/Avatar mine. Since there are 26 avatar items per tier and 4 vehicles per tier, an expected ratio of 26/4 avatars to vehicles should emerge, which is pretty close to what navan mined up. So if you're looking for items from mines in a city that contains the starter or avatar mine, be prepared to mine loads of junk that you don't want.

The rarity scale of dwarf findings also seems to be interesting. It seems that the odds for finding a tier of items has moved down one level. If you looking at navan's findings, you see that the odds of finding a green is 88%, and a blue 12%. This correlates pretty well to regular mines, where finding a yellow is about 85%, and a green is about 12.5%

Hey now, no trying to attack. Nothing is wrong with what Dudley said and in fact he has a valid point on it being one large mine rather then mining 4 seperate mines. As for rarity levels that is actually correct, if you view my Theoretical discussion on rarities, it's due to the fact that they are exponentially based. If the dwarf mined Blue+ then you'd find 85% roughly blue and 12% roughly red, 1.8% purple, etc. Further this is actually how damaged finds will fall out. Course damaged seem to be on par with normal blue finds of around 1 in 50 with an MR 12, so even though 12% of damaged will be red, you'll find them roughly around the same time you might expect to find an undamaged red. Again that is with an MR12, and by having it you effectively almost double the find rates you get.
